BD Publisher — Privacy Policy

BD Publisher ("the Service"), operated by BestDid Technology LLC (Carson, California, USA), is an internal social-media publishing tool used exclusively by BestDid and its affiliated brands to schedule and publish content to social-media accounts that BestDid itself owns or administers. The Service is not offered to the public and has no third-party end users.
Information we collect
- Social account credentials (OAuth tokens): when we connect one of our own social-media accounts (e.g. X, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube), the platform issues access/refresh tokens. We store these encrypted (AES-256-GCM) in our private database.
- Content we author: the posts, captions, and media files we schedule and publish through the Service, plus publish results returned by each platform (post IDs, timestamps, errors).
- Basic profile metadataof connected accounts (username, account ID) as returned by each platform's API, used solely to display and route publishing.
The Service does not collect data about members of the public, followers, or any third parties.
How we use information
Solely to operate the Service for ourselves: authenticating to platform APIs, publishing and scheduling our own content, verifying publishes, and reviewing basic performance of our own posts. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Storage and security
Data is stored in a private PostgreSQL database (hosted on Railway, USA) and media on our own storage (Vercel / Cloudflare R2). OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest; transport is HTTPS throughout; access is restricted to BestDid personnel via authentication.
Data retention and deletion
Tokens are retained while an account remains connected and are deleted when the account is disconnected. Platform data received via APIs is retained only as long as needed to operate the Service. See Data Deletion Instructions. You may also request deletion by emailing hello@bestdid.com.
Platform terms
Use of platform APIs is subject to each platform's terms, including Meta's Platform Terms and the X, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google API policies. Deleting a connected account's data from the respective platform can be done through that platform's own settings.
