BestDid Publisher

Purpose of this application: BestDid Publisher is a private, internal social-media publishing tool. BestDid Technology LLC uses it to compose, review, approve, schedule, and publish posts to the social-media accounts that BestDid itself owns — on platforms including YouTube, X, Threads, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. It replaces third-party scheduling tools with software we run ourselves.

How it works

A BestDid team member connects one of the company's own social accounts via that platform's official sign-in (OAuth).
Posts are drafted in a private dashboard and held for human review.
An approved post is published at its scheduled time through the platform's official API.
The tool then reads the post back from the platform to verify it published correctly.

Why BestDid Publisher requests account permissions

YouTube (youtube.upload):used only to upload Shorts/videos that BestDid created to BestDid's own YouTube channel, at the scheduled time.
YouTube (youtube.readonly):used only to confirm an upload succeeded and to verify the published video's details match what was approved.
TikTok (user.info.basic):reads the connected account's basic profile (open id, display name) once at connect time, so the account can be labelled in our dashboard.
TikTok (video.upload, video.publish):used to upload and publish a team-approved video to BestDid's own TikTok account at its scheduled time, including the AI-generated-content disclosure (is_aigc) whenever the media is AI-generated.
TikTok (video.list): used after publishing to confirm the video actually posted — the read-back check that distinguishes a real publish from a silent failure.
Other platforms (X, Threads, Instagram, Facebook):equivalent publish-and-verify permissions, used only on BestDid's own accounts.

The app never reads other users' data, never posts without human approval, and never shares, sells, or transfers data to third parties. Connected-account credentials are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) on BestDid's own infrastructure.

Who can use it

BestDid team members only. The tool is not offered to the public and has no third-party users.
